## Accessibility

We want people to be able to understand and use Receptionistic, including people who use assistive technology.

### Our accessibility approach

We use WCAG 2.2 Level AA as a design and development target. This is a commitment to improving the service, not a claim of independently certified or complete conformance.

- Keyboard-operable navigation and controls, skip links, and visible focus indicators.
- Form labels and associated hints, descriptive button names, and status messages.
- Dialogs that keep keyboard focus inside and return it when closed.
- Responsive layouts, improved text contrast, and respect for reduced-motion preferences.
- Passkey and email sign-in options, subject to browser and account support.

You can navigate with Tab and Shift+Tab, activate buttons with Enter or Space, and close dialogs or the Industries menu with Escape. Use your browser’s zoom and text-size controls as needed.

### What still needs improvement

The live concierge demo is voice-only and requires microphone access and audio output. It does not currently offer live captions or a text conversation mode. This can prevent some people with hearing, speech, or other disabilities from using the demo. Please contact us for a written explanation, information in an accessible format, or assistance choosing a service. We will discuss an alternative that addresses your needs.

Independent assessment across assistive technologies and all workflows is still pending. Browser-native authentication and third-party sign-in experiences may also vary by platform. We do not use an accessibility overlay or claim that a widget makes the website compliant.

### Report an accessibility barrier

Email [privacy@receptionistic.com](mailto:privacy@receptionistic.com) or [send an accessibility request](https://receptionistic.com/privacy/requests?type=accessibility). Include the page or feature, what you were trying to do, and your preferred way to receive help. Browser and assistive-technology details are optional. You do not need to disclose a diagnosis or medical information.

We will review the barrier and discuss a useful next step. We do not yet publish a guaranteed response time. This statement was last reviewed on 1 October 2026.
